1. What services does the Senior Center provide?: The Senior Center provides weekly activities such as bingo, board games, cards, computer access, day trips, dominoes, educational and health programming, exercise classes, line dancing, movies, and support groups. The Center annually assists with scheduling Medicare Part D prescription appointments and hosts quarterly meetings of the Senior Resource Network. During Fiscal Year 2020-21, the Senior Center served 7,681 meals, Tuesday through Friday. Sixty percent of the meals were served using the new drive-thru window that was installed in response to COVID-19. The Center also helped over 300 seniors schedule COVID-19 vaccine appointments.

2. What activities and programs does the RecPlex provide?: The RecPlex, recreation and fitness facility provides state of the art strength and cardio equipment; fitness classes for all ages and abilities; family pool with spiral water slide; 40-foot rock climbing wall for all skill levels; six lane 25-yard competition lap pool; baseball, soccer and multi-use fields; steam, sauna and whirlpool program studios, wellness classrooms and art studio; elevated three-lane track; supervised KidZone; three racquetball courts; 2.5 basketball courts; and outdoor walking trail. The RecPlex continues to expand activities and programs, such as adult volleyball, adult basketball, dog obedience classes, fishing clinics, fitness classes, fun runs, holiday craft fairs, kids night out events, movies on the lawn, pre K-2nd grade boys and girls basketball league, 3rd-6th grade boys and girls basketball camp, silver sneakers, tennis camps, walk challenges, and youth girls volleyball league and camp.

3. Do the pools have lifeguards?: AMBUC, Wentz and RecPlex swimming pools maintain American Red Cross lifeguard certifications, use certified aquatic facility operators and lifeguard instructors, and conduct bi-weekly in-service lifeguard trainings.

4. What facility rentals are held at Unity Gym?: Unity Gym provides facility rentals for baseball, basketball, softball and volleyball practice and hosts indoor organized sports leagues and community events.
